Yes, you can easily update your policy values or the address where your bikes are stored at any time, as many times as you like for that matter, completely free of charge.
We are always looking to make the customer experience better, and are currently developing an improved account area. Please follow the instructions for the relevant style for your account, which is shown in the pictures.
New style account:
Step 1 – Sign in
Sign into your account, using the ‘My Account’ button located at the top of the Bikmo Homepage.
If, like most of us, you have trouble remembering your login details, you can simply click ‘Forgot your password?’ which will then allow you to create your own unique and memorable password.
Step 2 – Locate the 'Policies' section
Your policies are show here, including their current status. Choose the policy that you are wanting to update the address for and click 'Manage policy'.
This will take you into that specific policy where, in addition to being able to access more detail and policy documents, you will be presented with various options for making changes.
Step 3 - Update your details
Beneath the policy details, click on the 'Make an adjustment' link. You now have the option to make the following changes to your policy:
-
I want to change the total value of my bikes from £Your current value
-
I want to change my value away from home from £Your current value
-
My bikes are no longer stored at Your post code
You can change any of the options by ticking the box, which will open up a field to input the new information. Click on the orange 'Recalculate my premium' button, and select the full address if updating this.
Any resulting changes to your premium and payments will be shown beneath the heading 'Your policy adjustment', check these and click 'Accept & Continue' for confirmation.
If your payments have decreased, and you pay annually, we will reimburse you with that amount.
Finally
This will update your policy documents, and an email will be sent to you, confirming that these changes have been made.

Step 2
You’ll then see in the centre of the page, below your insurance policy schedule the ‘Make an adjustment’ button. Click on the icon.
Step 3
You’ll then be taken through to our mid-term policy adjustment page. Here you can see on the left-hand side, all the details which are currently associated with your policy.
On the right-hand side, you’ll see where you can change either the address where the bikes are stored, or your policy values.
You’ll need to input the changes you’d like to make, and then click on the ‘re-calculate payments’ button, located below the changes.
Step 4
Depending if you’ve changed your policy values, you’ll be notified of either an increase or decrease in your monthly or annual premium. If your payments have decreased, and you pay annually, we will reimburse you with that amount.
If your payments have gone up, the amount will be shown either on an annual or monthly basis. As we have your card details stored in our system, you won’t need to re-enter your details again.
If you’re happy with this change, you’ll need to click on the ‘accept & continue’ button.
You will be prompted to double check that you are happy with these changes, and you’ll then need to click accept again to confirm you’d like these changes to take effect.
Finally
This will update your policy documents, and an email will be sent to you, confirming that these changes have been made.

I can't change my address. An error message comes up and nothing happens.
