• Sportives
• MTB XC
• Downhill
• Enduro
• BMX
• Cycle speedway
• Gravel
• Track
• Cyclo-cross
• Time Trials
• Audax
• Ultra-distance 
• Triathlon
• Duathlon

Please be mindful that, although your bike may be covered by this policy during the above events, the 'Liability insurance' that may be included in your British Cycling membership is not included for participation in 'all' of the above events.

• Ultra-distance 
• Triathlon
• Duathlon

Your PROTECT-R policy also includes cover whilst taking part in the following events: (You must have purchased a PROTECT-R policy and have 'Competition' cover shown on your policy schedule)

• Road racing
• Closed circuit racing
• Crit/Criterium racing

Additional PROTECT-R race fee cover 

If you've entered a competitive event listed above, have the appropriate cover shown on your policy schedule, and are no longer able to ride it due to something entirely beyond your control, your policy includes cover for one non-refundable fee that you've already paid, up to the value of £500.
