Your quote is built up from your post code and the value of your bike/s, which you need to set in order to ensure your bikes and equipment are covered under the British Cycling bike insurance by Bikmo policy.
You are only covered for the values you state within your quote when you create your policy. Underestimating the value of your bike or equipment may mean that you're not covered in the event of an incident or theft.
Whether your bike is new, second-hand, stock or custom, we advise to use the same method to obtain its value...simply work out how much it would cost you to buy another one if the worst happened, as the value you set is the limit to what we'd pay out in the event of a claim.
It's really easy to generate your quote by following the 3 steps below:
Step 1 : How many bikes you want to insure, and their value
When insuring more than one bike, you benefit from our multi-bike discount. Your multi-bike discount is applied automatically during the quote journey.
As you enter the details of the bikes, your lower value bikes have the discount applied and are highlighted to show this.
You’ll be happy to hear that as standard, and included in your quote, you will be covered for:
£250 or 10% of the total sum insured for accessories
£250 or 10% of the total sum insured for clothing & helmets
£500 or 10% of the total sum insured for bike boxes
Step 2: Select the cover level to suit your needs
Here, in addition to seeing both the annual and monthly premium cost (there's no interest added for paying monthly), you'll be able to see the included policy benefits.
What is included in your CLIK policy
What is included in your PROTECT policy
What is included in your PROTECT-R policy
Step 3: Complete your policy purchase
Once you've selected your cover level, we'll take a few details from you to complete the set up of your policy.
You'll be asked to confirm that you've read and understood some policy conditions... then you're good to go ride!
