What is Extended Warranty?

Protect Plus and Protect Total include Extended Warranty. It doubles the Specialized Global Warranty Policy on eligible components, from 2 years to 4.

It starts the day the Specialized warranty ends, so years 1 and 2 are Specialized’s own warranty, and years 3 and 4 are your Extended Warranty. Both are counted from the date your bike was first bought new..

It covers manufacturing defects on eligible components, including frames, co-branded suspension, e-bike drive systems and batteries, and Specialized and Roval wheels. It doesn’t cover parts that wear out, or damage.
