Keeping your details up to date helps us protect your ride properly — and means you’re fully covered when it matters most. Here’s how to give your policy a quick check-up before renewal:
Go to basecamp.bikmo.com and make sure everything looks right before your renewal date.
1. Your bike’s replacement value
Check what your bike would cost brand new today. Prices often rise from year to year, so make sure your cover keeps up. A quick look on your preferred retailer’s website should give you an accurate figure.
2. Any upgraded parts
If you’ve added new components - upgraded wheels, a new groupset, custom finishing kit - update your policy so they're included.
For example, if you replaced £800 wheels with £2,000 carbon ones, you’ll want your cover to reflect that higher value.
3. Your address
Moved to a new home or new bike cave? Make sure your address details are correct so we can keep your cover accurate.
Try to review and update your details at least 30 days before renewal. This gives us time to adjust your policy and update your new premium if needed.
