Can I Get a Refund if I Cancel Early?

Understanding refunds when you cancel your Bikmo policy

If you cancel within the first 15 days

If you cancel within the first 15 days of your policy, you’ll receive a full refund of everything you’ve paid, as long as you haven’t made any claims.

If you cancel after 15 days

If you cancel after the first 15 days, you may receive a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of your policy.

Example: If you paid for 12 months but only used 3 months, you’d get a refund for the 9 months you haven’t used.

When you won't get a refund

You won't get any money back if:

  • You've made a claim - if your insurance has already been used, no refund is available
  • The refund amount is less than £10 - we don't process refunds for amounts less than £10

How you'll receive your refund

If you’re due a refund, we’ll send it to you as quickly as possible. Your Direct Debit will also be cancelled, so you won’t be charged again.

Cancelling in the last 30 days

If your policy has less than 30 days remaining, we won’t issue a refund. Instead, your policy will simply end on its scheduled expiry date, and we’ll stop it from renewing.
